CARS
Minimum 108” wheelbase.
SAFETY
4 point roll cage with door bars on both sides. This is absolute minimum. Bars can go through front or rear fire walls. Driver must have helmet (see helmet requirements), safety belt, and shoulder harness. Remove all glass. Doors must be securely fastened. Door brace OK. Must be inside of car. Harness must be racing type 5 point securely mounted. Will have to pass inspection. Removal of dash and components inside of drivers compartment optional (example, emergency brake pedal.) No modification to body, no cutting suspension, or engine. Working horn and car radio optional. Stock bumpers only. No battering RAMS. No excess metal behind bumpers. Four door bars on drivers side mandatory. Recommend bars be plated with steel plate. Only one radiator in stock location. Fuel cell highly recommended.
STEERING
Must remain stock.
SUSPENSION
Stock! No moving, changing or modifications. Springs must be factory. Shocks must be factory. NO RACE PARTS!!
WHEELS AND TIRES
10” wide wheels. NASCAR pull-offs only. Recommended 3/8ths studs
with 1 inch lug nuts. Tires must durometer 60 or more after the “A” feature. 1” lug nuts mandatory!. May run bead locks on right side of car only.
REAR ENDS
Stock. Locking allowed. 9 inch Ford or 9 inch floater allowed for safety. Must be in stock location.
Cars must have numbers on both sides and top of car. Also, must be at least 14” height. Must be legible. (3) Digit or (2) digit and (1) letter.
No high performance parts, either stock or aftermarket. This means no double hump or any other type high performance heads, or alteration to heads of any kind!!! Head must be considered open chambers. Track may check any part of car at any time. The minimum weight with driver is 3500 pounds after the A feature. Lost parts may not be re-added! NO TOLERANCE!
ENGINE
362 C.I., 368 C.I. Maximum, Mopar stock intake, stock exhaust manifolds. Cam can have no more than .390-.410 lift, Chevrolet, Ford, and Mopar may have up to .420 lift max. Must be hydraulic and will be measured at valve tip. 600 CFM Holley, Model # 4160, part number 0-80452, 0-80453, or 0-80454. Adapter plate from carburetor to intake must be open. Other than these carburetor must be grocery getter stock.
Maximum valve size 1.94 intake, 1.50 exhaust. Legal heads numbers are for GM 126,185,336,441,445,487,493,598,624,862,882,920,993 and 997. Cannot be touched under valves with any kind of tool. Steel or cast OEM crankshafts only. Racing oil pans allowed. Stock 5.7 inch rods only. Any cast iron OEM heads for Ford and Chrysler are OK, but valve sizes are not to exceed 2.04 inch intake and 1.70 inch exhaust. No Vortec, Bowtie, SVO, W2, or any other high performance heads allowed. Stock diameter valve springs only
Legal numbers for heads are; (last 3 digits) 126,185,336,441,445,487,493,598,625,862,882,920,993,997, with valve sizes no larger than 1.94 intake, 1.50 exhaust. No touching of head lower than valve seat.
ALL DRIVERS MUST HAVE WORKING RACEIVER BEFORE ENTERING TRACK. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!.
